Opis stanowiska pracy

Capgemini Business Process Outsourcing is one of the first and the biggest outsourcing center in Poland providing services in 28 different languages in the areas of: finance, accounting, banking, procurement, customer care and marketing services. BPO employs over 2200 specialists in its offices located in Krakow and Katowice.

Currently, to our Business Process Outsourcing Center in Kraków we are looking for candidates for the position of: 

Legal Accounting and Reporting Manager

Ref. no LARM/KRK

 

Job Description:

•Ensuring correctness and accuracy of accounting records

•Co-ordination of month-end closing process, meeting monthly reporting calendar deadlines and SLAs

•Co-ordination of year-end closing process, including statutory requirements (AP/AR balance confirmation procedures, stock-taking)

•Performing accounts reconciliation before month/year closing (G/L, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inter company reconciliations, trial balance). Resolving accounting discrepancies

•Maintaining proper control environment within accounting area, preparation of accounting procedures

•Ensuring legality of financial documents

•Preparation of group reporting package for consolidation purposes in Cartesis Magnitude (6 times a year) according to IFRS and related reports

•Preparation of reports to external authorities (Statistical Office, National Bank of Poland)

•Drafting statutory financial statements

•Preparation of reports and forecasts for internal purposes

•Managing chart of accounts and master data

•Managing accesses to accounting systems, acting as level 1 support to users

•Co-operation with Accounting and Tax Managers, Consolidation team, Business Unit Controllers and other Departments

•Assisting in internal/external audits, preparation of required documents

•Participating in the internal projects impacting finance area such as new system implementation, process improvements etc.

•Assisting Legal Finance Director in other operational matters

 

Candidate’s profile:

•Education background in Finance / Accounting / Economics, ACCA/CPA qualifications would be an asset

•At least 8-10 years experience in accounting

•Excellent knowledge of Polish Accounting Law and IFRS

•Sound knowledge of Polish Tax Law

•Excellent analytical skills

•Very good English

•Excellent knowledge of MS Excel

•Knowledge of Oracle E- business Suite ver 11 i, Cartesis Magnitude and homebakning applications would be an asset, knowledge of advanced (module based) accounting application is a must
